BSW Water 30 ml (Dr. Glexx) is a pharmaceutical-grade bacteriostatic water supplied in a 30 ml vial, typically branded under BSW and associated with the manufacturer Dr. Glexx. This type of water is a sterile, non-pyrogenic diluent used in clinical and medical settings for the reconstitution or dilution of injectable medications before administration. It contains a preservative (usually 0.9 % benzyl alcohol) that inhibits bacterial growth, allowing the multi-dose vial to be used safely over multiple withdrawals without contamination. Bacteriostatic water itself has no therapeutic activity but is an essential solvent for preparing injectable drugs such as peptides, hormones, antibiotics and other lyophilized powders, ensuring they are dissolved properly and safely prior to parenteral use.
